I sat down one night in front of Logic, and before I go on let me be clear that I'd much prefer to record to tape.. the 2" kind, dig? So, I'm at the workstation and I wrote a toque libre (free time) arpeggio-style flourish, a few falsetas, then a rasgueados. After a few hours I had this complete track. It was one of the few occasions during the production of this record where the writing flowed like wine. I have a feeling that many years will pass before the emotion and flow of that night will be equaled.
